We live amidst a change of era which requires new paradigms and response to today’s most pressing global issues. A period where modern liberal democracies are at risk and new ideological principles are not yet defined. A unique historic moment of multiple economic, social and geopolitical uncertainties, as well as scientific and technological disruptions. And this at a moment in which the question of what it means to be human is more contested than ever.
We are living hence amazing times, times in which organizations and governments are called to work together to bring light upon a world deeply in need by building mutually-beneficial relationships, and to work towards innovative solutions—all for the common good of our global society.
This is not an era for government and business as usual. Too much is at stake—in our world, in our organizations, in our communities. This is an era for virtuous individuals, forward thinkers with diverse interests and backgrounds, dynamic and versatile professionals who are ready to lead meaningful and impactful change.
Such exciting task requires a new kind of leader that builds on a deep global and multi-disciplinary understanding of our reality in order to provide innovative approaches that transform our world for the better.

The Master´s in Public and Corporate Governance at UFV is a transformative and experiential learning journey that’s academically outstanding, hands-on, immersive, and customizable.

You will deep-dive both into the public and the private sector, gaining a global perspective which will allow you to acquire and in-depth understanding of today´s global challenges, identify the key actors, the rules and institutions that govern our world.
With our hands-on approach you will apply the learning to real life situations every step of the way. You will acquire much of the learning through practical cases studies and collaborative “labs” developed with leading global professional and institutions that are already transforming our world.
In addition, this change of era calls for a new kind of leader. This program trains all our students for ethical and service leadership in government, nongovernmental organizations, and the private sector.
The program begins by laying the groundwork for what’s to follow. Fundamental concepts of Law, Economics, Government, Corporate Governance, and Diplomacy are introduced as you begin to gain a broad vision of the key elements of global public and corporate governance. After laying the groundwork, you will deep dive into your chosen specialization. You will be able to tailor your studies to the areas that most interest you. This period moves into deeper analysis of critical global aspects.
