The UFV International Doctoral School was created to train a new generation of excellent researchers who develop innovative projects that advance society, put ethical values first and respect the dignity of the person. The EIDUFV aims to be a national and international benchmark in the training of doctoral candidates who seek the true and the good.

CROSS-CUTTING TRAINING ACTIVITIES
Please be informed that registration is now open for the Course on Writing Scientific Articles V Edition (transversal), organized by the UFV International Doctoral School (EIDUFV).
Please find attached the complete program with more detailed information.
Pre-registration: Until May 20th. Registration will be on a first-come, first-served basis until the number of places is filled, with priority given to students enrolled in the program.
COURSE APPROACH TO QUALITATIVE METHODOLOGY IN RESEARCH (IC)
We inform you that registration is now open for the Course Approach to Qualitative Research Methodology (Ic), organized by the International Doctoral School of the UFV (EIDUFV).
Pre-registration: Until May 16. Registration will be on a first-come, first-served basis until the number of places is reached, with priority given to students enrolled in the program.

MODULE 1: DESCRIPTIVE AND INFERENTIAL STATISTICS (12 hrs)
4,11,18, 25 March, 1, 8 April 2025 (Module 1) from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
MODULE 2: REGRESSION MODELS AND FACTOR ANALYSIS (8 hrs)
22, 29 April, 6, 13 May 2025 (Module 2) from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
General Objective:
The objective of this course is to introduce students in doctorate programs to basic and advanced statistical techniques that can be useful to them during their doctoral research. For this purpose we use two statistical tools: GraphPad Prism and SPSS.
Methodology: theoretical explanations will be combined with the resolution of practical cases using Excel and GraphPad Prism.
Pre-registration: FORM. until 26 February.
Registration will be on a first-come, first-served basis until the number of places is reached, giving priority to students enrolled in the EIDUFV Doctoral Program.
Evaluation method:
Evaluation will be done through the resolution of practical cases by class attendance and participation in the activities proposed during the course. It is necessary to attend at least 80% of the sessions to pass the course.
INTERNATIONAL MOBILITY
Open call for mobility grants for the UFV Doctoral School
The International Mobility Program for students at the UFV Doctoral School aims to promote the internationalization of doctoral programs by funding stays of doctoral students in at prestigious foreign institutions for the development of part of their research. The call is open throughout the academic year and aims to promote the internationalization actions of the EIDUFV through the development of doctoral theses with international mention and theses under international co-supervision.

UFV DOCTORAL SCHOOL REPORTS:
We hereby communicate that Ms. Cristina Izquierdo Luengo has submitted his doctoral thesis with the title “NEUROBIOLOGICAL CONSEQUENCES OF ADOLESCENT EXPOSURE TO SYNTHETIC CANNABINOIDS PRESENT IN SPICE/K2 PREPARATIONS”, dated May 12, 2025 at the International Doctoral School of the Universidad Francisco de Vitoria.
The thesis will be available for thirty days from the aforementioned date for those doctors who wish to consult it for the purpose of making any allegations they deem appropriate. Once this period has elapsed, the place and date for the reading and defense of the thesis before a tribunal will be communicated in due time and form.
UFV DOCTORAL SCHOOL REPORTS:
It is hereby notified that Mr. James Andrew Cleary has submitted her doctoral thesis with the title “The Justification of the Use of Public Reason in Jurisprudence regarding Gender Theory: A Comparative Study of the Political Theory Bases of J. Rawls and J. Ratzinger” on April 25, 2025 at the International Doctoral School of the Francisco de Vitoria University.
