Are you interested in anatomy, sport, and well-being? In the Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy at UFV, you will learn to understand the human body and the processes involved in injury and recovery, enabling you to support each patient through a combination of technical expertise and human sensitivity.

You will train in clinical simulation rooms, electrotherapy laboratories, hydrotherapy and rehabilitation pools, and at the UFV Sports Centre. Your education will be highly practical, with continuous exposure to real professional environments and hands-on clinical learning.

This degree is offered in two study tracks: Spanish Track: The programme is taught entirely in Spanish. French Track: The first two years are taught in French, while the final two years are taught in Spanish. Admission to the French Track requires applicants to pass specific admission assessments and demonstrate the required minimum level of Spanish proficiency.

More than 1,300 hours of practical training

You will complete over 1,300 hours of clinical placements across different specialities in clinics, hospitals, and high-performance centres such as Clínica La Luz, Hospital Puerta de Hierro, Clínica CEMTRO, and Club Deportivo Tacón.

Facilities designed for experiential learning

You will train in hydrotherapy and rehabilitation pools, the UFV Sports Centre gym, the Advanced Clinical Simulation Centre, and specialised rooms for electrotherapy, physiology, and manual therapy, enabling you to apply your knowledge in realistic clinical environments.

Active professional faculty

Approximately 90% of lecturers practise in the same speciality they teach, including areas such as dry needling, osteopathy, kinetic control, and clinical physiology. This ensures up-to-date, practice-oriented instruction.

Innovative curriculum

The programme incorporates techniques often reserved for postgraduate study, including neurological, hydrotherapy, electrotherapy, and cardiorespiratory approaches, strengthening your clinical preparation from undergraduate level.

Technical excellence with a human focus

You will learn to treat people as well as injuries, combining clinical expertise with humanistic subjects, visits to clinics and sports centres, and seminars on areas such as Pilates, kinesiotaping, and specialised therapeutic methods.
