The International Conference “Mentoring in the Business World” was conceived in a context where organizations, despite their efforts, still face the challenge of humanizing their cultures and fostering genuine commitment among their people. Data shows that, without structural and relational changes, transformation initiatives fail to achieve real impact. In response, Francisco de Vitoria University proposes coaching as a model centered on relationships, active listening, and holistic development. The conference seeks to rethink the business from a deeply human perspective, placing the individual at the center of strategy. It will bring together companies and experts to reflect, share best practices, and drive concrete changes in organizational culture. Its goal is to promote sustainable coaching models, integrate artificial intelligence in a human-centered way, and strengthen collaborative networks. Ultimately, it aims to leave a tangible mark on how we build more humane, meaningful, and sustainable organizations.

Submission of abstracts

Deadline: April 15 to September 7, 2026

Registration Form

To submit a paper and be considered for publication, you must first register for the conference using the form below.

Each author may submit up to three papers.

In the case of joint presentations, only the corresponding author should submit the proposal, although all presenters must register individually for the conference. The maximum number of authors listed on each presentation is 6; if this number is exceeded, justification must be provided based on the nature of the project, research, etc.

Formal requirements for the abstract

Between 500 and 600 words.

IMRD format or similar, including the following sections: introduction or research background, objectives, methodology (si es posible), results, conclusion, and discussion.

Indicate which thematic area it pertains to.

Do not include acronyms, references, or tables in the abstract.

Supported languages: Spanish and English

Selection of papers

The Scientific Committee will select the papers to be presented orally during the conference, based on the following criteria:

Relevance to the conference's theme and objectives.

Academic relevance of the topic.

Structure, originality, and practicality

Notification of whether proposals have been accepted will be sent by email. Selected presentations will be allotted a maximum of 10 minutes for the oral presentation.

Publication

Since the conference has launched a special issue (special issue) in a high-impact journal dedicated to the central theme of the event, the scientific committee will select the three best papers to recommend for submission and cover any publication costs, if applicable.

Articles must be between 6,000 and 8,000 words in length.

The special issue “Mentoring in the Business World: The Impact on the Humanization of the Workplace” aims to explore how mentoring—understood as a relationship based on connection, active listening, and trust, designed to foster personal development—can transform organizational culture in a context marked by digitalization and automation. The goal is to analyze practices, models, and experiences that place the individual at the center of the organization, fostering a shared sense of purpose and more humane work environments. The monograph will bring together research, methodologies, empirical studies, and best practices related to: meaning of work, leadership and corporate governance, ethics and trust, talent development, workplace well-being, sustainability, artificial intelligence, and the role of universities and business schools.

Purpose in work and support: putting people at the heart of the organization.

Artificial intelligence and automation: ethical, strategic, and relational challenges posed by their impact on organizations.

Corporate governance and leadership: executive support as a driver of trust, risk prevention, and an ethical culture.

Sustainability and workplace well-being: integrating support into CSR practices, mental health initiatives, and employee experiences.

Current support practices: a critical analysis of mentoring, coaching, and other models already in use in companies.

The role of universities and business schools in making companies more people-oriented.

Presentations must address one of the following thematic areas and should preferably be assigned to one of the roundtable discussions, although the Organizing Committee may reassign them if it deems it appropriate:
