The International Conference “Support in the Business World” It arises in a context where organizations, despite their efforts, still face the challenge of humanizing their cultures and fostering genuine commitment among their people. The data show that, without structural and relational changes, transformation initiatives fail to have a real impact. In light of this, Francisco de Vitoria University proposes “accompaniment” as a model centered on relationships, active listening, and holistic development. The conference seeks to rethink the company from a deeply human perspective, placing the individual at the center of the strategy. It will bring together companies and experts to reflect, share best practices, and drive concrete changes in organizational culture. Its goal is to promote sustainable support models, integrate artificial intelligence in a human-centered way, and strengthen collaborative networks. Ultimately, it aims to leave a tangible mark on how we build more humane, meaningful, and sustainable organizations.

Abstract

Shipping Dates

The deadline for submitting abstracts is from April 15 to September 30. The deadline has been extended until October 23.

You must fill out the registration form so that you can upload the paper, and an email will be sent automatically with further instructions on how to submit it.

Review Process and Dates

Submitted proposals will be evaluated by the Scientific Committee from September 30 to October 23, 2026, through a peer-review process, after which the decision regarding acceptance will be communicated.

Date of confirmation of presentation format (oral or poster): October 28, 2026.

Formal Requirements and Template

The abstract must be between 400 and 500 words in length. It must follow the IMRD format: Introduction, Objectives, Method, Results, Discussion, and Outlook (do not include references, images, or tables). Include between 3 and 5 keywords. Access the Word template to write your abstract. Remember that the abstract must address one of the conference’s thematic areas. Accepted languages: Spanish and English.

Thematic areas

Presentations must address one of the following thematic areas and should preferably be assigned to one of the roundtable discussions, although the Organizing Committee may reassign them if it deems it appropriate:

Meaning in Work and Support: Putting People at the Heart of the Organization.
Artificial Intelligence and Automation: Ethical, Strategic, and Relational Challenges Posed by Their Impact on Organizations.
Corporate Governance and Leadership: Executive Guidance as a Factor in Building Trust, Risk Prevention, and an Ethical Culture.
Sustainability and Workplace Well-Being: Integrating Support into CSR Practices, Mental Health, and Employee Experiences.
Current Support Practices: A Critical Analysis of Mentoring, Coaching, and Other Models Already in Use in Companies.
The Role of Universities and Business Schools in Humanizing Businesses.

Each author may submit up to three abstracts.

In the case of co-authorship, only the corresponding author should submit the abstract proposal, although all authors must register individually for the conference. The maximum number of authors listed on each research paper is 6; if this number is exceeded, justification must be provided based on the characteristics of the project, research, etc.

Review Process and Dates

Written submissions will be evaluated by the Scientific Committee using a double-blind peer review process. Deadline for the Scientific Committee to submit its evaluation and feedback: January 31 through February 28, 2027.

Deadline for submitting the author-revised version, incorporating the corrections and suggestions received from the Scientific Committee: February 28 through March 15, 2027.

The written paper should be between 6,000 and 8,000 words.

Conference Proceedings

The conference has sponsored a special issue titled “Accompaniment at Work: Relational and Developmental Approaches to Humanizing Organizations,” which will be published in the journal *Frontiers in Organizational Psychology*.

All participants who present a written paper at the conference may subsequently submit their work, adapted to the format of a scientific article, for consideration in this special issue, in accordance with the journal’s editorial guidelines and standard peer-review process.

Recognition for the three best written papers

The conference’s Scientific Committee will select the three best written papers submitted. Their authors will receive a preferential recommendation to submit their manuscript to the special issue, and the conference will also cover the publication costs of the resulting article.

The authors of the three best written papers will be notified by email by March 31, 2027.

Authors whose papers are not selected as among the top three may still submit their articles to the special issue and participate in the journal's peer review process; however, they will be responsible for the publication costs.
