Bachelor's Degree 's 2027–2028 Admissions Process Is Now Open

You are 4 steps away from starting your degree

Register and take the admission tests

We hold admission exams every week so you can choose the date that works best for you. All you have to do is register for the degree program that interests you most. The cost is 80 € (170 € en el caso de Medicina).

Important:

This amount will not be refunded under any circumstances.

College Degrees: admissions open until August 8th.

Find out the result

Once you have taken the test, our guidance team will inform you by phone.

You can check the results on the Candidate Portal, although someone from our guidance team will call you to let you know.

Reserve your spot

If you have passed the admission tests, you can now reserve your place for the next academic year. Congratulations! All that remains is to pay the Application Fees (950 €) via the Candidate Portal. This step is important to keep your admission active.

Important: This amount will only be refunded if you are legally unable to access the university.

Complete your enrollment

With your place already reserved, all you have to do is register.

Enrollment is done through the Candidate Portal, uploading the required documentation, according to your legal route of access to the university (homologación, credencial UNED, convalidación parcial de créditos). The PCE is only required for international students entering Medicine. The enrollment period opens in June and ends in September.

Important: To formalize enrollment, you must have a Spanish bank account where payments will be direct debited.

Important: International students who require it due to bureaucratic reasons beyond their control have an extended enrollment period until October 30.

Academic Advisors

Academic guidance team

The university has a team of counselors who conduct counseling activities and workshops in both high schools and universities. If you are interested in having us visit your school or visiting our university, please write to e.glezmesa@ufv.es.

Personalized career guidance service

The individualized career guidance session supports students as they make decisions about their professional future. It helps them get to know themselves better and reflect on their talents.

We work with the standardized EXPLORA test from Ediciones TEA, which provides us with information about each student's skills, knowledge, abilities, values, and interests. This is supplemented with an activity booklet designed by the UFV guidance department.

During the session, the advisor will provide feedback on the results obtained, attempting to shed light on anything that may help you make decisions or answer your questions. After this initial guidance session, which will last approximately one hour and fifteen minutes, you will have the opportunity to learn about the specific degrees in detail that you request. This second part will be carried out by degree advisors, who will analyze subjects, internships, and career opportunities. Students will receive a printout of everything covered during the session. If you are interested in more information or would like to arrange a session, please write to clara.teruel@ufv.es.

Frequently asked questions

What are the tuition fees?

See the pricing page.

How is the reservation payment made?

Payment will be made by bank card via POS terminal. During the process, it is important that when the student enters their mobile phone number, they include the international prefix, as the system sends a security confirmation message to the phone. This amount is separate from the tuition fee and cannot be deducted from any other payment. It will only be refunded in two cases: failure to pass high school or visa denial, in both cases documentation is required.

What are the requirements for enrollment?

It is essential to have a Spanish bank account. International Admissions will put students in contact with a specialist agent who can help them with this process.

Are there scholarships for international students?

At UFV, we offer the Academic Excellence Scholarship, which awards financial aid to students who have obtained an average grade of 8 or higher on their final Spanish university entrance exam (homologación, Credencial UNED). This scholarship can be applied for after being admitted and having formalized the reservation of a place, and it is applied to the remaining amount after formalizing the payment of tuition. International students must have sufficient funds to pay for their studies at UFV and live in Madrid, regardless of whether we can grant them recognition for their academic excellence. Unfortunately, we do not have financial aid for students who do not have legal residence in Spain.

Does the university offer accommodation options?

There is a university residence hall on the UFV campus with its own independent admission process. In addition, International Admissions will put students in touch with a specialized agent who can help them with this process.

When does the course start?

The only start date for the course is in September; it is not possible to start the course in January. All relevant information for students can be found at the following link.

Where can I find class schedules, exam dates, and vacation dates?

Check the academic calendar to see the class and vacation periods

Check the class schedule to see the class schedules for each grade

Should I take a Spanish course if my level is B1?

All non-Spanish-speaking students whose Spanish level is B1 must take a compulsory course taught by UFV during their first year in order to reach level B2 by the end of the course. The approximate cost is €500, which will be charged to the bank account provided by the student at the time of enrollment.
