Imagination and Possible Worlds
Its transdisciplinary objective is to form a community of researchers and teachers who, through the exploration of the notions of imagination and possible worlds, generate a synthesis of theoretical and practical knowledge aimed at safeguarding and promoting human dignity and the common good.
Main lines of research: Investigating the speculative, practical and creative power of imagination; Theory of possible worlds in aesthetics, social communication, architecture and fine arts; Role of imagination and the notion of world mimesis; Analyzing cultural works as possible worlds or imago mundi.
