SCHOLARSHIPS AND FINANCIAL AID
The 2025-2026 call for scholarships is now closed.
The Universidad Francisco de Vitoria reserves the right to modify the information related to its scholarships, grants and discounts for future academic years.
DISCOUNT FOR LARGE FAMILIES
Large families who have been granted an official degree by an Autonomous Community are required to apply for the discount in a timely manner through the Portal del Candidato (for new students) or the Portal Universitario (for students who have been enrolled in previous years). This will result in a discount on the total amount of the monthly payments, with the exception of the initial payment for enrollment and reservation of a place, if applicable.
To qualify for renewal of this discount, please submit a written request to the Study Grants Service by the established deadline each year.
Both new students and those already enrolled in previous years will be contacted twice to proceed with their request
- 1st call: from May 5 to Monday, June 30, 2025 or
- 2nd call: from July 10 to 25, 2025
Large family discounts
- Discount from 5% for large families of general category (4 children or less).
- Discount from 15% for large families of special category (5 or 6 children).
- Discount from 30% to 60% for large families of special category (7 children or more).
The discount will be applied in accordance with the number of children included in the official large family title in force.
To renew these grants in successive years, students must pass all subjects enrolled at UFV between the 1st and 2nd calls. Additionally, students must request the discount through the Portal Universitario.
Required documentation
- Valid collective title of large family.
- In the case of special category families with 7 or more children, they must provide the income tax return for the fiscal year 2024. The thresholds published at UFV Financial Assistancewill be used as a reference. If necessary, in order to clarify the composition of the Family Unit, the Study Grants Service may request:
- Complete copy of the family record book.
- Current collective census registration form

Please be advised that the renewal of this aid is not automatic and must be requested through the Portal Universitario (Grants and Aid section). Successful completion of all UFV courses enrolled in between the standard and supplemental enrollment periods is required.
*This discount is applied to the cost of enrollment, with the exception of the reservation fee and the initial enrollment fee.
- These discounts are not compatible with other grants, scholarships and discounts.
- Please note that the application for this discount IS NOT CONTINGENT ON ENROLLMENT DEADLINES. It can be applied for at any time without having previously made the same.
- Discounts will only be granted in accordance with the established deadlines.
The renewal of this grant is NOT automatic, and must be requested through the Portal Universitario (scholarships and grants section) within the established deadlines and documentation in force. It is subject to passing the subjects enrolled at the UFV between the 1st and 2nd call exams.
