Why is UFV the best place to study Nursing?
You will spend many hours at the Advanced Clinical Simulation Center, a pioneering facility that has become one of the best in Europe. There you will do simulations, learn with robots, practice in the emergency boxes, the ICU, the resuscitation room, the operating room, etc.
As a complement, you will take a Basic and Advanced Life Support course and an Electrocardiography course because the more trained you are, the more job options you will have.
You will be lucky enough to study the human body in the anatomical dissection room of the Faculty of Medicine.
If you are considering working abroad, you can study for three months in Italy, Belgium, Switzerland and France, do international internships or short stays in the European Union.
You will complete 2,300 hours of professional internships and rotate through different areas so that you can discover which one you like best and learn how to perform in all health services (primary care, operating room, pediatrics…). In addition, 85% of the students stay working in the same place…
You will also have the option to do your last internship or end-of-degree project at the University of Miami, Chile, North Carolina or South Carolina.
Health professions require a profound humanistic education and that is precisely our hallmark. You will have humanistic subjects, social internships, trips to Germany, Poland or Vienna and you will visit a leprosarium.
And, of course, you will have fun on a campus full of life. You’ll be able to go on missions, participate in student societies, volunteering, sports teams and thousands of other activities. You’ll live a unique experience!

Our students have a wide range of placements in biomedical hospitals and national and international companies. This internship allow students to enrich their education and develop their professional skills and abilities before entering the labor market.
