Train in one of the first programmes in Europe to integrate clinical simulation into the curriculum. You will practise in simulated operating theatres, intensive care units, emergency departments, ambulances, primary care centres and with advanced patient simulators.

Internships starting in the first year (Early Clinical Immersion)

From the beginning of your degree, you will accompany physicians in hospitals and progressively undertake clinical placements and rotations across multiple departments.

Medical Humanities

Develop a comprehensive understanding of the patient’s experience of illness in all its dimensions. Training activities include visits to Fontilles, academic trips to Germany and Poland, and bioethics seminars.

MIR (medical exam) results

UFV achieves outstanding results in MIR pass rates and in the allocation of specialist training positions across different editions of the examination.

Research with cutting-edge technology

You will have access to 400 m² of laboratories equipped with advanced technology, including flow cytometry, multiphoton microscopy, cell and microbial cultures, molecular analysis and mass spectrometry.

The programme is supported by agreements with eight public and private university hospitals, 16 health centres and specialised units in areas such as psychiatry, oncology, traumatology, palliative care and geriatrics, as well as international partnerships.
