Why study at UFV?

Pioneering degree program

UFV is one of the first Spanish universities to implement the Bachelor's Degree Philosophy, Politics, Law, and Economics (PPLE), a pioneering degree that trains leaders capable of analyzing and solving the major social, economic, and political challenges of the 21st century, with a clear vocation for service and the pursuit of the common good.

Innovative methodology

You will study this degree using an innovative methodology, exclusive to UFV, based on challenge-based learning, cooperative work, and the integration of disciplines. This multidimensional profile is increasingly in demand in the job market, both in the public and private sectors, where the ability to think strategically and lead with discernment is highly valued.

Comprehensive view

You will understand laws within their political, economic, and philosophical context. This comprehensive perspective will make you a strategic advisor capable of operating in an increasingly interconnected professional environment, a skill that is in high demand by public institutions, international law firms, and global organizations.

programme

You will be able to undertake professional internships at prestigious institutions, companies, and consulting firms such as KREAB, MAS Consulting Group, EUCA, Fundación Xavier Zubiri, and Political Watch–CIECODE, among many others. You will also have access to the UFV job bank and, if you wish to become an entrepreneur, the UFV Entrepreneurship Center, where you can bring your own ideas to life.

Support and mentoring

We have a team of mentors who will help you discover your calling, develop your talents, and make the most of your college experience.

360 Training

You will learn to anticipate social, institutional, and economic impacts, design legal solutions with a long-term vision, and make complex decisions with sound, cross-cutting criteria.

Learning in real-world contexts

You will learn through experiential and applied learning, including parliamentary simulations, economic analysis workshops, ethical and political debates, seminars with experts, and visits to public and private institutions. In addition, you will have the opportunity to participate in academic trips* to locations of political, economic, and cultural significance. *These trips are not included in tuition and may be modified, canceled, or subject to changes in destination and duration depending on the policies of each school.

Lead projects that have a real impact on society

At UFV, you’ll have the opportunity to participate in leadership and social transformation initiatives, such as those promoted by Empieza Por Educar (ExE), where you’ll apply your knowledge in real-world contexts that make a positive impact. This experience will allow you to develop leadership skills, a sense of commitment, and social vision, preparing you to make a difference both professionally and personally.

Key competencies

During the double degree, you will develop key skills such as critical thinking and analytical skills, rigorous argumentation, negotiation and leadership, an ethical vision oriented toward the common good, and interdisciplinary analysis. All of this takes place within a demanding academic environment that combines theoretical depth with practical application.

Inspiring Campus

And best of all, you will enjoy a unique university experience. The UFV campus offers an environment that encourages reflection, creativity, and participation, with a vibrant university life full of cultural activities, sports teams, volunteer opportunities, international projects, and lifelong friendships.
