Why is UFV the best option to study Fine Arts and Design?
ONLY at the UFV will you receive a complete artistic education, since you will study traditional art as well as art applied to cinema or video games, while at the same time studying in depth the five branches of design: graphic, interior, industrial, audiovisual and fashion.
You will exhibit your artistic projects at the Museo del Traje or at the Emerge exhibition of the Axa Foundation, and you will present your graduation project at the Vitra Showroom. A great opportunity to make a name for yourself in the sector.
Your career will be about creating, so you will combine hands-on workshops in the printmaking, fashion and video game rooms with project work, learning techniques, visits to art galleries, educational trips, lectures by artists and designers who will tell you about the latest trends and …. and much more!
You will learn the profession with great experts such as Jos Lorenzo, illustrator and photographer; Pablo Medina, film director and video game designer; Tania Navas, web and augmented reality application designer; Elisa de la Torre, artist expert in stamping, embossing and artistic creation techniques, etc.
You will be able to do internships with major brands, agencies or companies such as Shiseido, Agatha Ruiz de la Prada, Pepe Jeans, Cortefiel, Matadero Madrid, Madrid Designers Association (Dimad), Jorge Alcolea’s gallery, etc.
And the best part! You will have a unique university experience. You will be able to participate in student associations such as Nido Creativo or Emerge Lab, join the Mirada 21 student association in its design and advertising agency, create your own project in Emprende UFV or be part of a sports team.
Internships in agencies, companies or design studios
You will do mandatory internships in design studios, art galleries, agencies or brands such as Shiseido, Matadero Madrid, Madrid Designers Association (Dimad), Agatha Ruiz de la Prada, Pepe Jeans, Leo Burnett, Disney, Havas Media, etc. This internship is an excellent opportunity to get your first job, as 85% of our students get an offer from the same place where they did their internship.
