The The Universidad Francisco de Vitoria (UFV) has approved a new governance structure for the School of Law, Business, and Government with the aim of strengthening its institutional development, consolidating its educational model, and improving the services it provides to students, faculty, and the entire university community.
The new structure aims to strengthen the Faculty’s governance through a clearer division of strategic and academic responsibilities. This model will enable the Faculty to promote, in a coordinated manner, institutional growth, program quality, research, internationalization, and the well-rounded education of students.
Under this new organizational structure, Javier de Cendra has been appointed dean of the School of Law, Business, and Government, while Jorge Cerdio has been named dean of programs.
A Structure Focused on Institutional Development
As Dean, Javier de Cendra will lead the Faculty’s strategic planning and institutional development, as well as its external representation and relations with key stakeholders. His responsibilities also include fostering partnerships and strengthening research and internationalization efforts.

His role will help strengthen the Faculty’s institutional presence and foster closer ties with universities, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations linked to the legal, business, and political spheres.

For his part, Jorge Cerdio will lead the Faculty’s educational model and its entire range of undergraduate and graduate programs.
