Understand the mind, prevent crime and support victims
Studying the Double Bachelor's Degree in Psychology + Criminology at UFV means exploring human behaviour and criminal phenomena from the very first year. You will work in the Criminology Laboratory, the anatomical and forensic room, the Gesell chamber and biotechnology laboratories, learning to investigate crime scenes and analyse evidence. At the same time, you will develop core competencies as a psychologist and gain in-depth knowledge of forensic psychology, policing, penology and victimology.
Your training will be enriched through visits to NGOs and public institutions, including police units, correctional facilities, juvenile justice centres and victim support services. You will also complete clinical placements at the Comprehensive Family Support Centre (CAIF) on campus and attend specialised seminars on topics such as jihadist terrorism, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, missing persons and drug trafficking. In addition, you may internationalise your academic profile through the INICIA programme, endorsed by the University of Cambridge.
