If you are passionate about research and aspire to lead the development of new therapies and medicines, the Double Bachelor’s Degree in Biotechnology + Pharmacy equips you with comprehensive scientific and clinical expertise. You will train in areas ranging from nanotechnology and bioinformatics to pharmaceutical care, integrating advanced research with patient-centred practice.

From the first year, you will work in state-of-the-art laboratories and complete more than 750 hours of practical training. You will have the opportunity to join leading research groups in fields such as oncology, neuroscience and microbial biotechnology, contributing to innovative scientific projects.

Your education also includes real clinical experience through supervised internships in pharmacies and hospitals, as well as placements at internationally recognised institutions such as Harvard, Mount Sinai, Imperial College and the Mayo Clinic.

• Biotechnology and biopharmaceutical sector: Research roles in public and private centres, science and technology parks, and participation in incubators and innovation hubs.

• Healthcare sector: Hospital management in R&D&I, clinical trial coordination, biobank management and roles such as Medical Scientific Liaison (MSL).

• Hospital pharmacy services: Radiopharmacy, clinical analysis, clinical biochemistry, medication management and control, toxicology and food hygiene.

• Community and pharmaceutical practice: Community and hospital pharmacies, military pharmacy services, pharmaceutical distribution, marketing and sales.

• Management and consulting: Consulting, management of biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies and scientific knowledge management.

• Legal and regulatory fields: Advisory roles in industrial and intellectual property, patents and intellectual property management.
