UFV’s Bachelor’s Degree in Biotechnology prepares researchers with scientific rigour and strong ethical foundations, capable of generating impact in health, food, energy and environmental sectors. From the first year, you will train in state-of-the-art laboratories, complete more than 500 hours of practical sessions and take courses in English that connect you with the international research environment.
You can further specialise through the Diploma in Advanced Methodologies in Scientific Research, gaining the opportunity to join research groups at the Institute for Biomedical Research (IIB) and undertake mandatory internships at leading institutions such as Harvard Medical School, Yale School of Medicine and CNIO.
