By virtue of the university autonomy recognized in Article 27 of the Spanish Constitution and in Organic Law 2/2023, of March 22, on the University System and criteria of transparency, objectivity, and fairness, the consent of students shall not be required for the publication of the results of tests related to the assessment of their knowledge and skills, nor for any actions necessary for the proper conduct and monitoring of such assessment.

On the other hand, in order to ensure that the data contained in our computer and/or paper files always corresponds to reality, we will endeavor to keep it up to date. To this end, the User must make the changes directly, when enabled to do so, or by communicating them, by reliable means, to the corresponding area or department of UFV.
The data contained in the academic record will be communicated to the Ministry of Education / Regional Ministry of Education of the Community of Madrid and other competent public administrations. The data may also be communicated to banks and financial institutions for the payment of outstanding bills, to companies commissioned by the university to carry out the necessary procedures and actions for the collection of said bills, or to public or private entities where students undertake internships, as well as to travel agencies and any other entities necessary for the provision of higher education services.
If other data transfers are planned, they will be detailed in the corresponding basic information. Francisco de Vitoria University has various application and IT support providers who may access personal data when executing said contract. UFV will always have a data access contract with them in accordance with the requirements of Article 28 of the General Data Protection Regulation, which will provide sufficient guarantees for the processing carried out by these providers. Some of the providers are located outside the European Union, so UFV requests additional guarantees, in accordance with the regime provided for international transfers in the General Data Protection Regulation.
USERS may exercise their rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing, portability, and not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing, including profiling.
Likewise, USERS may withdraw their consent to the processing without this affecting the lawfulness of the processing based on the consent prior to its withdrawal with respect to all processing authorized and consented to by checking the box on the corresponding forms.
