The project was developed with the participation of students and faculty from the Bachelor's Degree Fiction and Narrative and the Bachelor's Degree Advertising, Ideation, and Brand Communication, in collaboration with the UFV Library.
This combination has made it possible to merge narrative development with visual creation. In this regard, Isabel Adriana Vázquez Sacristán, director of Bachelor's Degree Advertising, Ideation, and Brand Communication, noted that “this initiative brings together two worlds that, at first glance, seem to have nothing in common but share something fundamental: the ability to transform the way we see things.”
During the panel discussion on the creative process, Óscar Fernández, a professor in Bachelor's Degree Advertising, Ideation, and Brand Communication, emphasized the importance of insight: “The most inspiring way to start working is to find a truth that you hadn’t stopped to notice.” Along these lines, he added: “Villains have become villains due to a lack of foresight, due to a risk.”
For his part, Nicolás Pérez Riera explained that the project has involved “focusing attention on something that usually goes unnoticed.”
Student Pablo Burgos highlighted the creative challenge of the project: “It’s a challenge to take an existing character and adapt it to the theme of workplace accidents.”
