The School of Communication at Francisco de Vitoria University has held the 9th edition of RUSH, a hands-on training initiative for the Bachelor's Degree Advertising, Ideation, and Brand Communication that exposes students to the professional realities of the advertising industry through an applied learning experience.
The program, jointly designed by the School of Communication, industry companies, and the UFV Career Services department, transforms the classroom into an advertising agency, allowing students to work under conditions—including workflows, deadlines, and standards—similar to those in the professional world. In this edition, students developed creative proposals for brands such as Aplus Gastromarketing, Telepizza, and Factorial, based on real briefings and with direct evaluation by industry professionals.
The project takes on particular significance in a context where the advertising industry is seeking professionals capable of combining strategic thinking, creativity, proficiency with new tools, and adaptability. According to InfoAdex, estimated actual advertising spending in Spain reached 12,745.4 million euros in 2025, highlighting the economic and professional significance of a sector in constant transformation.
Isabel Vázquez, director of Bachelor's Degree Advertising, Ideation, and Brand Communication, describes the value of this event as follows: “Rush is one of the key milestones of Bachelor's Degree it’s the moment when students are confronted with the reality of the industry. Three brands come with three professional briefs that the students tackle in a single day, and the students present their ideas to a jury made up of creative directors from the top agencies across Spain.”
