DNA information at the service of health, industry and the planet
With the Bachelor's Degree in Genetics, you will learn to read, interpret and apply the information stored in every cell to address real challenges in medicine, industry, the agri-food sector, sport and the environment. If you are interested in regenerative medicine, gene therapies, precision medicine or species conservation, you will work with cutting-edge technology in small classes, specialised laboratories and alongside research-active academics.
From your first year, you will develop practical skills in genetic diagnosis, bioinformatics, genetic engineering and omics analysis. You will apply this knowledge through seminars, workshops, company visits and external internships at leading national and international centres. You may also choose the Diploma in Applied Genetics and Business to understand how genetics creates value across scientific and industrial sectors.
