Purposeful mechanics: design, manufacture and improve the world we use every day
Everything around you, from vehicles and energy systems to everyday devices, exists thanks to mechanical engineers. At UFV, you will learn to design and develop equipment, systems, engines and machines, integrating AI, robotics, the Internet of Things (IoT) and automation. From day one, you will work on real projects, including engine testing, design using CATIA and SolidWorks, aerodynamic analysis in wind tunnels and industrial robot programming.
You will study at the Motor & Sport Institute (MSI), a high-tech centre equipped with robots, state-of-the-art vehicles, 3D printers and specialised engine laboratories.
In addition, you can strengthen your professional profile with a minor in Business Management and experience engineering firsthand as part of the UFV Racing team (Formula Student or MotoStudent). UFV has a high graduate employability rate, with 95% of students in employment within one year of graduation, supported by its practical methodology and a curriculum endorsed by industry experts.
