You will receive comprehensive training in graphic, interior, industrial, audiovisual, and fashion design. This solid foundation allows you to understand each discipline in depth while specialising in the area that best aligns with your vocation. From your first year, you will work in the design studio, fashion workshop, and creative spaces on campus. Each subject is developed through real-world projects that you will conceptualise and produce with guidance from your lecturers and in contact with industry professionals. You will also visit companies and agencies and attend conferences led by experts shaping current trends.

Your projects will extend beyond the classroom. You will exhibit your work at the Emerge Fair and the Costume Museum, and present your Final Bachelor's Degree Project at the Vitra showroom, an internationally recognised design space. These experiences enable you to graduate with a strong, professional portfolio that enhances your employability.

All students complete internships. You may join design studios, communication agencies, and leading brands such as Cruz más Cruz, Contrapunto BBDO, Leo Burnett, Agatha Ruiz de la Prada, Pepe Jeans, and Cortefiel. You can also gain professional experience within UFV’s own design and advertising agency and at Grupo Mirada 21 media outlets, developing real campaigns and audiovisual projects.

You will be taught by practising professionals who combine industry work with teaching, including Pablo Medina, film director and video game designer; Jos Lorenzo, illustrator and photographer; and Tania Navas, web and augmented reality application designer. Their professional experience ensures an up-to-date perspective and valuable industry connections.

At UFV, design extends beyond the classroom. You may join student societies such as Nido Creativo and Emerge Lab, launch your own initiative through Emprende UFV, participate in university sports teams, and attend workshops, cultural activities, and conferences that enrich your creative and personal development.
