Library Training

What is it?

The primary goal of this service is to train and inform members of the university community about the use and operation of all services and resources that may be of interest for learning or research.

• Collaborates with the UFV Institute for Innovation by contributing content to the digital skills courses offered through the DIGCompEdu program.

• Develops and teaches research training courses for UFV faculty and staff.

When are they held?

At the beginning of the school year, the Library organizes training seminars primarily for new students, but anyone who is interested is welcome to attend.

The library also offers online courses through CANVAS.

Are there any other courses?

User training is a service that can be customized. In addition to the courses scheduled by the library, any faculty member may suggest other, unscheduled courses that are deemed necessary and appropriate for conducting training activities, gaining a better understanding of bibliographic resources in any field, or developing skills related to the use of new information tools—particularly the search for information resources on the Internet.
