The opening hours depend on the room you want to study in. Check the Library Location section for all opening hours. There is one room that is open 24 hours a day from Monday to Friday, and during exam periods the Library extends its opening hours and is open on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Any changes to the opening hours are published on the website.
You must register by providing your details and your UFV user number. To do so, you will need to fill out a form available on the website and in the UFV app, or go to the library counter.

For each day you are late in returning a book, you will be penalized with a two-day suspension from borrowing books. However, you will still be able to consult books in the reading room.
Requests can be made from the Services Area on the Student Portal, or at the Library desk in Building H or the College Library Building where the room you want to reserve is located.
Laptops can be borrowed from the lockers located at the entrance to the Reading Room in Building H and the Reference Room in the College Library Building. You will need to show your library card to borrow a laptop.
The Reading Room in Building H has a photocopier that can be used to print and copy documents. To use it, you need a card that can be purchased at the UFV reprographics office.
In the Reading Room of Building H, locate the book in the catalog by consulting the circulation desk or the OPAC collection search. Request the book at the desk and wait for it to be delivered. In the Reference Room of the College Library Building, you can locate the book on the shelf or consult the OPAC. Once you have it, go to the loan desk. In both cases, you can use the self-checkout option or ask the loan desk staff for help.
