Online Sessions
In each session, **the instructor will present the core content of the module, which participants will then work on independently over the following two weeks**. In addition, the instructor will share specific examples that will help participants gain a deeper understanding of the subject matter and how the perspective of open reason can profoundly transform university teaching and research.
Self-employment
**Self-directed study involves reading the texts, watching the videos, and completing the assignments for each module of the course.** The estimated time required to complete each module is approximately three hours. Those who wish to explore the subject further will find additional readings, videos, and other supplementary resources in the “Learn More” section of each module.

**This asynchronous discussion forum provides an opportunity to continue reflecting on or discussing, at a more leisurely pace,** issues of interest that arise during the sessions or in participants’ independent work.
