More than a hundred attendees gathered at the Francisco de Vitoria University (UFV) for the opening of the 2025 International Congress on Forgiveness and Reconciliation, which brought together experts from Europe and the Americas to explore forgiveness from the perspectives of philosophy, theology, justice, and victim support.
The conference, held in a hybrid format, was organized by the UFV Institute of Forgiveness, the research group “First Philosophy and Metaphysics of the Person,” and the Razón Abierta Institute, in collaboration with the Pro+Tejer Chair at the Complutense University of Madrid and the Institut Catholique de Toulouse, with support from the Templeton World Charity Foundation.
