The Francisco de Vitoria University (UFV) has signed an agreement with the San Dámaso Ecclesiastical University to jointly establish a new university chair. The agreement establishes a framework for collaboration between the two institutions to promote education, research, and outreach in the field of dialogue between faith and reason. The initiative is aimed at professors associated with the Razón Abierta project and includes the launch of a Master’s Degree in the Foundations of Christianity with an academic focus that bridges the gap between parish courses and a bachelor’s degree in Theology.
The agreement was signed by Daniel Sada, president of Francisco de Vitoria University, and Nicolás Álvarez, president of San Dámaso Ecclesiastical University. The ceremony was also attended by María Lacalle, Vice Rector for Faculty and Educational Model at UFV, and Raúl Orozco, Secretary General of San Dámaso Ecclesiastical University.
