
Recognizing the importance of debate as an educational tool for developing our young people’s comprehension, analytical, and synthesis skills, as well as the resources offered by dialectics and public speaking for learning how to argue, persuade, and defend different points of view, Francisco de Vitoria University has developed a comprehensive training program.
We understand that this activity would not be possible without the support of a teacher to accompany and guide the students. For this reason, a training course will be offered at Francisco de Vitoria University for all instructors involved in this activity.

The students are the focus of the activity. Therefore, they will receive training and support that will enable them to develop their skills and tackle this challenge with enthusiasm.
Various training activities will be organized to complement the work of the lead teachers. Once the teacher has explained how the activity works, the students will participate in different types of training.
Students from participating schools will be invited to an initial theoretical and practical debate training session at Francisco de Vitoria University.
During this session, you will be able to attend a university debate as spectators, which will follow the same format that you will later use in the competition.
In this space, you can share thoughts, questions, and suggestions, with the goal of improving your understanding of how the debate works.
