The UFV Theater Group "Ay de mí… ¡Triste!" is a student society open to the entire university community. It is made up of students from all degrees at Francisco de Vitoria University.
Throughout the school year, the group works on a play that will be staged at the end with everyone’s contributions. Rehearsals are complemented by a theater training “ programme .” Students work as a team in different committees, allowing them to learn about the various aspects of theater: set design, props, makeup, costumes, lighting, and sound, in addition to acting.
Titles such as Life is a Dream, Don Juan Tenorio, Punishment Without Revenge, Caligula, The Lady of the Dawn, and Pygmalion are part of this group's history, which has staged comedies, dramas, children's plays, classics, and contemporary works.
Theater training is carried out alongside cultural activities, participation in amateur theater competitions, trips to the theater, and the organization of University Theater Week.
No prior experience is necessary.
