Fabuestudio is a society of students and teachers that was founded with the aim of researching screenwriting for short films.
We have been producing short films for three years that will be integrated into a feature film of sketches whose stories are related to an underlying theme chosen by the project's initiators: morality in young people. This theme is broad enough to accommodate any story and will showcase the different styles, concerns, and aesthetics of the new wave of content creators.
With the ultimate goal of developing a series of short films that together form a feature-length project consisting of sketches or individual segments, the group meets EVERY Wednesday from 12 to 2 to make progress on writing the scripts. We currently have 42 minutes of film completed. We also review other, more personal projects, such as short stories and novels.
This year, the scope of activities has been expanded to include other activities such as writing stories, with plans to publish a book of short stories produced by our laboratory.
What is our goal?
Move forward with the feature film project that, under the theme "morality among young people" (elegido por los alumnos que lo iniciaron hace 4 años), ties together the various stories with this common theme.
What events do we organize?
From time to time, we hold film forums open to the rest of the university to promote and analyze great classics of world cinema from all eras. We also maintain ties with some of the seminars organized by Antonio Landrove, such as the screenwriting seminar and the seminar on possible worlds.
