What is our goal?
The Magda Arnold Student Society was founded in response to the concerns that have arisen among undergraduate psychology students regarding how to integrate their Catholic faith with the academic content they are receiving and learning in class. Our goal as an association is to offer perspectives, guidelines, and criteria to psychology students and professionals seeking an academic path to continue their education through a community, in a space for reflection and openness to the truth. Hence our motto: “In science and in faith.”
What events do we organize?
We primarily organize monthly volunteer outings with the elderly, people with intellectual disabilities, inmates, the sick, the homeless, and others. In addition, we offer monthly awareness-raising training sessions on these topics.
