The world of investing is vast and may seem distant to those who are still students, but at Investing UFV we will cover topics that you have surely heard of: the stock market, cryptocurrencies, how the economy works, NFTs, real estate, ETFs, investing in startups, company valuation, risk management, investment funds, investment psychology, and much more.
Our mission is to do our part to promote financial literacy by creating a community where young people can learn about investing and finance in a clear, practical, and accessible way, with the primary goal of introducing them to this world and helping them make better financial and investment decisions to build a more solid and responsible future.
We organize all kinds of activities related to investing and finance: from talks and conferences featuring high-profile speakers and companies (como Iván Espinosa de los Monteros, Daniel Lacalle o Pablo Gil, Indexa Capital, Crescenta, CFA Institute, Microsoft…), to investment competitions, stock market and investment courses, company visits, and professional development workshops geared toward careers in the financial sector.
For anyone curious about investment. It does not matter if your knowledge of this subject is extensive, limited, or nonexistent, as there will be talks for all levels. Nor does it matter which degree program you belong to; in fact, we foster group diversity, as this is what makes it enriching: uniting students from different sectors who share a common interest: investment.
