Francisco de Vitoria University will hold the next ceremony for the 2026 Optimus Awards, an institutional award that honors the top student in each graduating class for their academic excellence, effort, and commitment across all aspects of a well-rounded education, in line with the university’s Mission Statement and Educational Project: Educate to Transform.
The ceremony will take place in the campus’s Aula Magna at 12:00 p.m. and will be presided over by the university president, Daniel Sada. During the ceremony, the students being honored this year will be announced; they were selected for having consistently excelled throughout their university careers in various areas of academic and personal life.
The Optimus Award consists of a scholarship to pursue an official graduate program at the School of Graduate Studies and Continuing Education at Francisco de Vitoria University, and will be presented later as part of the 2026 Academic Graduation Ceremonies.
The university invites the entire UFV community to attend this event, which highlights the holistic development of students and recognizes those who exemplify the institution’s educational mission.
