The Francisco de Vitoria University (UFV) https://www.ufv.es reaffirms its School of Medicine’s standing among the schools with the best MIR results in Spain, consolidating an educational model that combines academic excellence with the realities of professional medical practice.

According to data from the Ministry of Health regarding the 2025 MIR program, UFV ranks among the top ten Spanish universities in terms of median admission rank, a key indicator that determines the actual options available to future doctors when choosing a specialty and hospital.

In addition, the university has placed 89.6% of its graduates in MIR residency programs—the highest percentage among Spanish medical schools—further solidifying its leadership in graduate employability in the field of medicine.

Estimates for the 2026 MIR suggest an improvement in these figures. In a cycle with more than 15,000 applicants, the estimated median UFV score is around 4,288, compared to the national average of 7,545.
