Francisco de Vitoria University (UFV) is inaugurating the Institute of Neuroscience and Applied Social Psychology (SINAPSICO).
This institute is established as a dedicated center for reflection, study, discussion, and dissemination by researchers and educational programs that, from a multidisciplinary and integrated perspective, address the biological, psychological, and social dimensions of human beings.
The Institute's mission is to generate rigorous knowledge to further our understanding of the biological and psychological mechanisms underlying human behavior, with a special emphasis on brain function and the cognitive and affective processes that guide social interaction.
The ultimate goal of this knowledge is to design, evaluate, and implement scientifically grounded psychosocial interventions that have a real impact on people’s lives and their psychosocial well-being.
