The HAWA, DeRetiro, and Según Tu Palabra projects have been selected as finalists for the second edition of EROI Incubator, the first purpose-driven innovation hub launched by the Institute for the Global Common Good** at the Universidad Francisco de Vitoria (UFV). The three initiatives will represent the programme the *10th His Way At Work International Summit*, to be held September 21–24, 2026, in Mexico.

For four months, entrepreneurs and startup founders have participated in a program of training, mentoring, and support designed to develop business models capable of generating economic, social, and human impact. The programme a transcendent vision of business and proposes understanding business leadership as a vocation of service focused on people and the common good.
A People-Centered Entrepreneurship Model
Unlike traditional incubation models, which focus primarily on financial growth, EROI Incubator proposes a different approach to entrepreneurship: viewing the company as a tool that serves people and society.
The programme inspired by the international methodology His Way At Work (HWAW), which encourages entrepreneurs to place God at the center of their projects and to exercise leadership from a perspective of service. From this perspective, business activities can help transform the lives of employees, customers, partners, and communities.
The second edition brought together startups in the pre-seed, seed, and early stage phases. Throughout the programme, the startups’ leaders worked on key aspects for the development of their initiatives, such as defining their value proposition, financing, team management, leadership, sustainability, and business growth.
The process has been supported by business leaders, professionals, and mentors affiliated with national and international organizations, who have shared their experience with the participants and helped them make progress in developing their projects.
Three projects will represent EROI at the international summit
To conclude this second edition, the participants presented their initiatives to an evaluation committee tasked with selecting the projects that will represent EROI Incubator at the 10th His Way At Work International Summit.
The three finalist proposals were:
- HAWA, led by Carmen Ramírez Gallardo.
- DeRetiro, founded by Patricia Serrano.
- According to Your Word, developed by Yael Moreno.
During the summit, the leaders of these initiatives will have the opportunity to present their projects to an international community of entrepreneurs, investors, mentors, and leaders committed to a business model centered on human dignity.
The event, scheduled for September 21–24, 2026, will also be an opportunity to forge new connections, share lessons learned, and continue to develop business initiatives that combine viability, purpose, and positive impact.
A Diverse Entrepreneurial Ecosystem
Along with the three selected projects, other initiatives that reflect the diversity of the entrepreneurial ecosystem that has emerged around EROI Incubator also made it to the final phase:
- LINBA, by Javier De Tapia.
- Presencia Holding, owned by Pablo Guedón.
- LANOIA, by Elisa Moreno.
Regardless of the outcome of the final phase, the organization believes that one of the main achievements of the EROI Incubator is to help shape a new generation of business leaders committed to a more humane approach to entrepreneurship.

Business Leadership Focused on the Common Good
Now in its second year, EROI Incubator continues to build a community of entrepreneurs interested in developing sustainable, competitive businesses that are focused on the common good.
The programme to help participants not only strengthen the soundness of their business models but also reflect on the purpose of their organizations, their responsibility as leaders, and the impact their decisions may have on people and society.
This approach aligns with the mission of the Institute for Global Common Good at Francisco de Vitoria University, which promotes the study, education, and development of initiatives capable of placing the individual at the center of social, economic, and business life.
The participation of HAWA, DeRetiro, and Según Tu Palabra in the His Way At Work International Summit will extend the learning process that began at the EROI Incubator. The three projects will have the opportunity to present their proposals to an international audience and to continue demonstrating that it is possible to successfully launch a business without losing sight of what gives meaning to entrepreneurial activity: serving people and contributing to the common good.
