In an effort to promote academic excellence, the university offers a 30% discount on monthly tuition fees for the second and subsequent Bachelor's Degree to students who already hold a UFV Bachelor's Degree.

Both new students and those who were enrolled in previous years will have two opportunities to submit their request:

1st call for applications: from May 4 to June 30, 2026 or

Second application period: July 10–25, 2026.

Requirements

This applies to students who, having completed a Bachelor's Degree (todos los cursos) at UFV, decide to pursue a second Bachelor's Degree.

Documentation

A photocopy of the degree certificate issued by the UFV or proof of payment of the degree fees.

Amount

A 30% discount will be applied to the monthly payments. This does not apply to the initial enrollment fee.

Procedure

Applications, both for the first year and for subsequent years, must be submitted through the University Portal. This discount is not automatic; therefore, it must be requested for each year that the second undergraduate degree is pursued.

Compliance with the requirements described (destinatarios, documentación, plazos, etc.) is a necessary condition for obtaining it.

To renew this financial aid, you must earn the following minimum number of credits:

Dual degrees, degrees from the School of Experimental Sciences, and degrees from the Higher Polytechnic School: 70%

All Other Grades: 80%

Renewal

This discount is not automatic; therefore, students who wish to receive it during their second or subsequent years of university study must apply for the discount each year through the University Portal, ensuring they do so within the established deadlines.
