Students who receive this scholarship must apply for renewal annually through the University Portal within the deadline set by the Student Financial Aid Office on its website, selecting the option “Scholarship for Outstanding Academic Performance.”
For the purposes of renewal, beneficiaries will be required to meet the following requirements:
Pass all courses taken in the previous academic year during either the regular or make-up exam periods and achieve a weighted grade point average of at least 8.00.
It may be renewed for all years of the degree program except the final year; for that year, if financial need arises, students may apply for a loan of honor, which will cover part of the tuition cost and which, in turn, requires the student to repay the loan under terms agreed upon by both parties.
This scholarship cannot be applied for in higher-level courses if it was not awarded during the first year of the degree program.
If you are unable to renew this scholarship due to failing grades or not achieving the required grade point average, you have the option of regaining it in the following academic year if you meet the established criteria and provided that it is not the final year of Bachelor's Degree fo_img). This option is available only once during the duration of Bachelor's Degree.
Failure to apply for renewal within the specified time frame shall be understood as a waiver of the same.
