With the aim of promoting academic excellence and consolidating a brilliant educational track record, Francisco de Vitoria University awards these grants as a distinction to those students who excel in their high school transcripts in the year prior to entering our University.
Valid for newly admitted students starting in the 2026–2027 academic year for bachelor's degrees and dual degrees (no incluye al Grado en Medicina ni Odontología).
To obtain the scholarship, the following two requirements must be met:
- Students must have completed high school by 2026, and their grade point average for the first and second years of high school must be at least 8.50 points.
- The PAU must have been taken and passed during the regular testing session in 2026, and the University Admission Score (CAU) must be at least 8.5 points.
This scholarship will not be awarded if a grade lower than 8.5 points is obtained in either of these two subjects.
The scholarship award will be proportional to the grade obtained in CAU* and will be conditional upon the submission of the required documentation in a timely manner and in the proper form, as well as the availability of funds allocated for this purpose.
- Between 8.50 and 8.99 at CAU – 40% scholarship
- Between 9.00 and 10 at CAU – 60% scholarship
*CAU: Final grade determined by the weighted average of the high school diploma and the general phase grade that appears on the PAU card (aprobada en convocatoria ordinaria 2026).
In the case of students with a valid disability certificate, the average grade will be adjusted according to the percentage of disability in each of the aforementioned grades (Bachillerato/CAU).
- For students whose disability certificate is between 33% and 65%: -0.25 points.
- For students whose disability certificate is between 66% and 100%: -0.50 points.
This grade adjustment also applies to the scholarship award periods:
For students whose disability certificate is between 33% and 65%:
- Between 8.25 and 8.74 in CAU—40%
- Between 8.75 and 10 in CAU-60%
For students whose disability certificate is between 66% and 100%:
- Between 8:00 and 8:49—40%
Students who gain admission through high school equivalency or EU credentials will be subject to the same criteria as other students and must provide the documentation corresponding to their legal system of admission to the university:
- Access via EU Credential: UNED Credential Document.
- Access via High School Equivalency: Equivalency document or, where applicable, technical study of predicted grade point average. This documentation will result, where applicable, in a conditional scholarship decision. Once the final grades awarded by official bodies (Ministerio de Educación, UNED, etc) have been obtained, they will be submitted to the Study Aid Service. If, once the final grade has been submitted, the average mark is not the minimum required for the scholarship to be awarded, it cannot be applied for (o se procederá a su denegación) in subsequent academic years.
The Scholarship Committee's decision will be communicated to students through the channels established by the Student Aid Service.
Beneficiaries will receive a pre-award letter with the corresponding percentage. The final award is conditional upon effective enrollment.
If the student does not formalize their enrollment, the Student Aid Service may cancel the preliminary award of the scholarship and distribute it, where appropriate, to other students who were not previously awarded a scholarship, provided that they meet the academic requirements.
