The Francisco de Vitoria University (UFV), through its Center for Education in Virtues and Values, is organizing a book presentation for "On Education" by Alasdair MacIntyre.
It is particularly timely in a context where education tends to focus on what is technical, practical, and immediate, pushing the big questions about truth, virtue, and the meaning of the good life into the background.
Alasdair MacIntyre’s writings offer a deeply relevant critique of this trend and, at the same time, present a hopeful proposal for rethinking education as the holistic formation of the person.
