On October 2, biomedical engineering students and young professionals will have another opportunity to learn more about the healthcare technology sector at the second edition of the Biomedical Engineering Talent Forum in Madrid.
The event was created with the aim of establishing itself as the annual gathering for companies in the health technology sector and emerging talent in biomedical engineering, fostering direct contact among students, graduates, companies, hospitals, technology centers, and institutions in the sector.
Throughout the morning, participants will have the opportunity to learn firsthand about various career paths, job and internship opportunities, and areas of research, as well as to talk with professionals currently working in hospitals and companies in the medical technology sector.
The " programme " includes a roundtable discussion on the role of biomedical engineers in hospitals, a hands-on session on employability, and meetings with organizations and companies in the sector, such as the CSIC Center for Automation and Robotics, Medtronic, Siemens Healthineers, Abbott, Philips, and Minimed, among others.
The Talent Forum is co-organized by the Spanish Federation of Healthcare Technology Companies (Fenin) and the Spanish Society of Biomedical Engineering (SEIB), along with six leading Madrid universities in this field: the Polytechnic University of Madrid, CEU San Pablo University, the Francisco de Vitoria University, the European University, Carlos III University of Madrid, and Rey Juan Carlos University.
For this second edition, CEU San Pablo University will host the event, which will take place at its Higher Polytechnic School on the Montepríncipe Campus.
