For the purposes of scholarships or financial aid, family income will be calculated by adding together the income of each of the eligible family members who earn income of any kind. The general taxable base will be added to the savings taxable base. The resulting amount will be subtracted from the self-assessment tax liability. In the case of members who do not file an income tax return, it will be calculated based on the income and payments or withholdings submitted.
This financial aid is intended for students who can demonstrate good academic performance and whose economic and family circumstances require it (el Grado en Medicina queda excluido de las Ayudas económicas UFV en su primer curso de acceso a la UFV). Grades obtained during the 1st and 2nd years of high school or equivalent will be taken into account, along with the results of the admission test and the economic circumstances of the family unit. Financial aid may be requested in all years except the last year of each degree program. For the final years, it is possible to apply for an Honor Credit (en caso de necesidad económica) or some of our discounts (en caso de cumplir con los requisitos de estos).
