VAS is a student association that supports students with social concerns who want to contribute to transforming the world through volunteer work.
VAS is made up of students from all years of study who feel the urge to do something for others and whose ideal is to transform society and the world, starting with themselves. We are a UFV society, open to all those with social concerns who want to be a driving force both inside and outside the university.
Based on the premise that UFV student societies do not want to separate action from training, the VAS proposes to accompany its members during their volunteer work in different ways. On the one hand, all activities are carried out in the presence of one or more trainers from the Social Action team, who share the experience with them.
On the other hand, it is important to note that in order to sign up for these activities, it is essential to attend the training sessions that take place on Wednesdays at 12 noon. Finally, after the activity, there is always a space for reflection and discussion where trainers and students learn from the experience.
Send an email to vas@ufv.es with your name, surname, degree program, year of study, and ID number, or drop by the Social Action Department (Módulo 3, edificio central). We will contact you and tell you everything you need to know. We look forward to seeing you! We also have a space in the virtual classroom where you will find all the information about activities, training, the updated calendar, documents to download, and a space to share your experience.
