To promote equal opportunities in graduate education by supporting students from low-income backgrounds who have achieved a grade point average of 6.5 or higher in the undergraduate program that qualifies them for the master’s degree.
Intended for students who will be pursuing a UFV graduate degree, with the exception of collaborative programs.

To be eligible to apply for the Graduate Excellence Scholarship, students must demonstrate a grade point average of 6.50 or higher on the academic transcript for the degree program that grants admission to the master’s program.

The application for the General Scholarship must be submitted together with the application for admission to programme corresponding programme .
It is important to note that scholarships are limited and are awarded strictly based on the availability of spots and the allocated budget.
The deadline for applying for the General Scholarship is July 31, 2025, for master’s programs beginning in October. Any applications received after this date will only be accepted under exceptional circumstances and will be at the discretion of the Scholarship Committee.
These late applications will be subject to the availability of funds, and their evaluation will depend on the criteria established by the committee.
