The Office for the Transfer of Research Results (OTRI) is a technical-administrative service for promoting the transfer of scientific knowledge from our University to society as a whole.

It reports to the Vice-Rectorate for Research and Postgraduate Studies and is part of the OTRI network of Spanish universities with which it shares common objectives.

Functions

Patents and transfer

Promote a culture of patents as an important part of the research process and the transfer of research results to society.

Aid programs

Provide technical and administrative support in submitting grant and aid applications to the various public and private entities that fund research.

Technical support

Inform and encourage participation in various regional, national, and international R&D aid programs.

Fund management

Manage and account for external research funding.

Collaboration with companies

Promote collaboration and knowledge exchange between UFV research staff and the R&D departments of companies and public research centers.

Scientific dissemination

Carry out outreach activities and promote scientific culture among the university community and the general public.

We provide support and advisory services to the research community:

Calls for applications

Evaluation of six-year periods of research and transfer.

Dissemination of external research grants.

Project and fund management

Technical and administrative advice on national and international calls for proposals.

Administration and justification of external funds according to the terms and conditions of each call for proposals.

Certificates and authorizations

Issuance of certificates for six-year periods of service, participation in projects, and outreach activities.

Knowledge transfer

Contact with the business sector for joint projects.

Courses, advice, and support for patent applications.

Disclosure and rankings

Organization of events such as MIND ON, Science Week, and Researchers' Night.

Advice on scientific culture and data centralization for rankings.
