European Documentation Center

The European Documentation Center (CDE) at Francisco de Vitoria University is part of the Europe Direct network, coordinated by the European Commission's Directorate-General for Communication, whose representative in Spain is the European Commission Representation.

The European Documentation Centers Network, created in 1963, now has more than 400 centers throughout the European Union. The UFV's CDE was founded in 1997 and, since 2011, has been part of the Technical Committee of the Spain–European Union Digital Archive. In addition, since 2014 it has been collaborating as an editor on European Sources Online (ESO), a database managed by the CDE at Cardiff University.

The annual quality assessment report and activity report will be published once a year based on the following indicators:

• Number of inquiries handled and academic profile of users, including data on resolution timeframes

• Number of publications distributed from European institutions

• Number of publications edited and distribution data for these publications

• Number of informational or training activities carried out

• Data relating to complaints, comments, and suggestions
