The Internal Quality Assurance System of the UFV International Doctoral School is a structured set of activities and organizational resources designed to address a variety of needs:
- Facilitate the monitoring of the UFV Mission’s implementation through its Quality Policy within the scope of the quality system itself.
- Provide relevant information to all groups involved in the degree programs, which is useful for both decision-making and accountability. Specifically, the SGIC generates information on the results achieved in relation to the commitments made.
- Encourage the relevant bodies to improve teaching and learning processes, as well as the resources allocated to them, in order to achieve the graduate profiles outlined in the academic programs.
- To comply with the objectives and purpose of quality assurance systems within the framework of the European Higher Education Area, in accordance with the document Criteria and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area (ESG), approved by the Conference of Ministers in May 2015.
- Comply with the requirements set forth in the relevant national legislation governing official degrees.
