Degrees: Ph.D. in Law from San Pablo CEU University, with a dissertation titled G.K. Chesterton and English Distributism in the First Third of the 20th Century. Master’s degree in Philosophy from Francisco de Vitoria University. Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business Administration from Complutense University of Madrid.
Other educational and academic achievements: Founder of the IUVE Association in 1987, and its President until 1995. In June 1995, he was appointed Director General of Volunteering and Development Cooperation for the Community of Madrid, a position he held until January 1998. From February 1998 to January 2001, he served as Senior Advisor for Social Affairs in the Office of the President of the Government. In January 2001, he was appointed Director of the Carolina Foundation, under the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He has taught undergraduate and graduate courses at various universities since 1995.
