The duration of the scholarship is between 2 and 12 months, of which the maximum funded period will be 3 months, except for students who can demonstrate that they are from a “disadvantaged background” (recogida en la convocatoria), in which case the actual duration of the stay will be funded, in addition to the supplementary grant. The amount of the grant will be approximately €500, €450, or €400 per month, depending on the destination country.
The countries participating in programme : Germany, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Croatia, Denmark, Slovakia, Slovenia, Estonia, Finland, France, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Norway, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, the Czech Republic, North Macedonia, Romania, Serbia, Sweden, and Turkey. Non-member countries in Region 14: the Faroe Islands, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland; and non-member countries in Region 13: Andorra, the Vatican City State, Monaco, and San Marino.
Payment will be made in two installments: 70% upon the student’s arrival at the host organization and the remaining 30% upon completion of the exchange.
Academic credit for internships will be awarded based on the nature of the internship:
– Curricular internships: These will be academically recognized for the credits specified in the Learning Agreement.
– Extracurricular activities: These will be recognized academically through a notation on the European Diploma Supplement (BOE 07/02/2015) or, if that is not possible, on the official academic transcript.
Students are responsible for purchasing insurance and agree to provide proof of coverage to Francisco de Vitoria University before the start of their study abroad program.
The mandatory coverage that the insurance policy must include is as follows: medical care (tarjeta sanitaria europea o seguro médico privado), liability, accidents, and repatriation of remains.
