The Official Medical Association of Madrid hosted the conference “Improving Practices in University Hospitals: People-Centered Management”, an event that brought together nearly 60 participants, including students from all of Madrid’s medical schools, management teams from university hospitals, and academic representatives from various universities in Madrid. The event established itself as a forum for dialogue and shared reflection on the challenges and opportunities of clinical training in the hospital setting.
The conference was organized in collaboration with **SEDISA, a foundation that ****seeks to promote professionalization, training, and research in healthcare management, and was held under the auspices of the UFV-Pfizer Chair in Person-Centered Medicine and Humanization of Care, an initiative that promotes a humanistic approach to medicine, centered on human dignity and the continuous improvement of healthcare through university education.
