The Francisco de Vitoria University (UFV) celebrated Criminologist Day with a hands-on forensic simulation activity organized by students in the Master’s Program in Criminalistics.
Under the coordination of Laura Gómez García, the programme director, the students designed and ran a forensic escape room that replicated the stages of forensic analysis used in real-world investigations. The activity was aimed at raising awareness of criminal investigation within the university community.
An educational innovation project applied to crime scenes
The simulation was part of an educational innovation project focused on the application of criminal investigation methodologies. During the workshop, participants learned techniques for evidence analysis, crime scene investigation, and structured case resolution.
